Haddonfield postman Dave Goldstein was raising funds online to help purchase a $60,000 replacement van for transporting his son, Joshua, who has Joubert’s Syndrome and is wheelchair-bound. As of press time, the family had raised over $17,000 on GoFundMe.

Police in Haddon Heights were searching for a man wanted for shoplifting out of a CVS Pharmacy. The male was described as in his 60s. Police reported that the man removed a heating pad from the store shelf and attempted to return it with an old expired receipt and left with the heating pad when his return of merchandise was denied.

The Haddon Township Planning Board voted not to allow home ownership of chickens. The decision followed the Haddon Township Environmental Commission sustainability study and a request from residents to consider allowing chickens on private property.

Audubon kicked off its one to one Chromebook Initiative, distributing 100 personal computers to its seventh grade students as part of a district-wide technology initiative. The chromebooks would come to the school at no cost, as multiple members of the community and organizations donated to the cause.
