The Village Playbox brings to the stage a unique performance of the iconic musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, to take place in the sanctuary of The First Presbyterian Church of Haddon Heights May 3 through the 18. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, this rock opera is based loosely on the Gospels’ accounts of the last seven days of the life of Christ.
In honor of National Autism Acceptance Month, approximately 620 Collingswood students in kindergarten through high school celebrated neurodiversity, understanding, and inclusion by participating in a walk at Knight Park on Tuesday.
The election of 1800 brought about a constitutional crisis that almost split the nation and undermined our fledgling government. That election was the first peaceful transfer of power from one political party to another under the new United States Constitution. In the opinion of our third president, Thomas Jefferson, that made it the culmination of the American Revolution.
Given another chance to adopt legislation that opens the doors to cannabis businesses in Haddon Township, the governing body did not waver on Tuesday voting 3-0 to allow four classes of cannabis businesses to operate in two small commercial sections of town.
Last Thursday the Haddon Township Board of Education approved three bond referendum work-related agreements.

I support the Giordanos. [Collingswood Seeks to Take Salon Owners’ Property, The Retrospect, April 5, 2024] I have gone to that parking area for 40 plus years. I have gone to the salon under different owners. Never have I felt it was in disrepair or unsafe.
On the morning of February 20, Haddon Township resident Jim Nettleman found himself laying on his back after a fall in the deepest recesses of the Battleship New Jersey.

It is always with great pleasure that I go to my mailbox to find that The Retrospect has been delivered. I have been away from South Jersey since 1978. Most of my family still lives in Jersey.
